The Allan Labor Government is making sure Victorian kids get the best start in life – strengthening the early childhood education workforce to support more kinder places for children and better support for working families.Minister for Children Lizzie Blandthorn and Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas have launched the latest round of the Labor Government’s Certificate III Upskill Support Program and announced an expanded partnership with Deakin University – to help train more early childhood teachers particularly in regional and rural areas.

Improved mobile coverage for the Macedon Ranges

Locals and visitors to the Goldie area in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges are benefiting from improved mobile coverage thanks to the joint Albanese Government’s Mobile Black Spot Program (MBSP) and the Allan State Government’s Connecting Victoria Program. A new macro cell base station at Goldie is providing new and improved 4G mobile coverage to areas that previously experienced limited reception.

Connectivity boost for Tylden

Locals and visitors to Tylden in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges are benefiting from improved mobile coverage thanks to a joint investment by the Albanese Government and the Allan Labor Governments. The deployment of a new Telstra macro cell mobile site provides improved mobile coverage and connectivity to the Tylden area,including along the Kyneton to Trentham roadway, the Calder Highway, and along the nearby rail line.
