Riddells Creek students now have bigger and better classrooms to learn in, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas, today announced the completion of Riddells Creek Primary School’s $2.2 million upgrade.
The upgrade included the construction of a brand new standalone senior learning building including classrooms and staff space, as well as landscaping around the new buildings and maintenance work on the administration building.
The Labor Government has invested $6.1 billion to deliver more than 1,400 school upgrades, supporting over 7,500 construction jobs for Victorians.
A total of 100 new schools will open by 2026 under the Labor Government’s school building boom, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.
This building boom will continue over the coming years, with the Government having already appointed builders to start delivering 11 schools across the state that will open in 2020 and 14 schools that will open in 2021.
