Firefighters in Riddells Creek will get the facilities they need to keep their community safe with a re-elected Andrews Labor Government to upgrade the local CFA station.
Only Labor will make sure our firefighters have the modern facilities they need, investing $950,000 to bring the station up to scratch.
The existing station was built in 1984 and is no longer meeting the needs of the local brigade. The facility is overcrowded, without female amenities and is well and truly ready for a refresh.
The upgraded station will provide the community with the modern facilities it deserves and will house the Brigade’s four vehicles and appliances, as well as supporting more than 60 volunteers that staff the station.
Only Labor will deliver the things that matter to people across the Macedon Ranges, including the modern facilities our emergency services need to keep the local communities safe.
