STRENGTHENING TOURISM BUSINESSES IN MACEDON

Macedon’s tourism industry has been backed by the Allan Labor Government with tailored resources to help upskill local tourism businesses. Member for Macedon,

Mary-Anne Thomas today welcomed the $100,000 funding for Daylesford Macedon Tourism, as part of the Labor Government’s Regional Tourism Network Industry Strengthening Program.

In Macedon, Daylesford Macedon Tourism is a peak voice to government about the visitor economy and leads the delivery of programs to support the growth of tourism in the region.

They will use the funds to support tourism businesses in the region through programs facilitating business networking and digital skills that will give them the ability to boost their business and improve visitor experience.

The Regional Tourism Network Industry Strengthening Program is part of the $170 million Regional Tourism and Events Fund that will ensure our regional tourism offering continues to be the very best by supporting new events, attractions and more accommodation for visitors.
