MORE FREE MENTAL HEALTH CARE COMING TO MACEDON RANGES

The Allan Labor Government is expanding its network of Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals so more Victorians can get free mental health support close to home without needing a GP referral or Medicare card.Minister for Mental Health Ingrid Stitt has announced that seven new Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals will soon open across Victoria – including one in Mount Alexander Shire – making it easier for people to get free mental health support closer to home.

Netballers in Woodend can look forward to doubling the action at Gilbert Gordon Oval with major court redevelopments now complete, thanks to the Victorian Government.On Saturday, Member for Macedon Mary-Anne Thomas joined Macedon Ranges Shire Council and the Woodend Hesket Hawks Football Netball Club representatives to officially open 2 new netball courts, made possible by more than $980,000 from the Victorian Government.
